California based label Citation Records looks to the east – coast, that is – for their newest signing, Impulsive Decision. This New Jersey five piece curates the best sounds of recent years, taking pinches of Sublime, Taking Back Sunday, Creed and Alter Bridge along the way, to create their thoroughly modern sound that has won them rave reviews and dedicated fans.

It was the fans that demanded that Impulsive Decision get the band together in the first place. After the five friends casually recorded a demo, just to test the waters, everyone who received a copy insisted that the guys start taking this music thing seriously, pronto. Happy to oblige, the band soon jumped into the regional live circuit full force and used the net to earn fans in their own backyard as well as around the globe.

After landing an endorsement deal with AMP Energy Drink and a management deal with SEG Entertainment, Impulsive Decision inked their record deal with Citation Records. Plans are in the works for Citation to give the band’s self-released debut, Far From Thru, the national release it so deserves.

Impulsive Decision’s Citation debut will hit the shelves in early 2010.
